What a fun week the family had! We went up to Washington state last week to visit relatives on my side of the family and some friends we hadn't seen for about 7 years. Also took the kids to Mt. St. Helens and the Johnson Ridge Observatory. The week went by fast.
It was great to see everyone (that was there) again. I was trying to surprise everyone, but I got surprised to find out some relatives were out of town. Boo hoo!
The hardest part of the trip was the driving. We decided to get up early in the morning and make the drives up and back in one shot, which took about 13 hours each way.
While it was great to see everyone again, I am glad to be home. The kids will be starting school tomorrow. Richard will be in sixth and Ashlynn in third. They are growing up fast.
