Some of my favorite Old Testament verses

When I read the Bible, cover to cover, a few years ago, I noted those that stood out to me; those that personally spoke to me. Today, I am sharing ones from the Old Testament. I will share New Testament verses another day (and give you all something to look forward to....LOL). ;-)

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:29

The LORD said, Have I not set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress? Jeremiah 15:11

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14

The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. Lamentations 3:25

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7
